KBI Joined LabIndonesia 2024

Jakarta, 7 May 2024 –Demonstrating its unwavering dedication to propelling Indonesia’s biotech sector forward, the Indonesian Biotechnology Consortium (KBI) showcased its latest initiatives at LabIndonesia 2024. The event, which took place at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) from the 24th to the 26th of April, featured KBI at booth N36 where they presented their organizational profile and a suite of activities aligned with their biotechnological vision and mission.In a collaborative effort with PT ITS Science Indonesia, KBI hosted a seminar titled “Ensuring Conformity Assessment: The Vital Role of Laboratory and Its Design in Urban Area.” This seminar, conducted on the 26th of April, commenced with an opening address by KBI President Mr. Mastur, M.Si, Ph.D. The event featured Albertus Suwarno Jap, Project Division Manager at PT ITS Science Indonesia, and Dr. Wahyu Purbowasito Setyo Waskito, M.Sc., the Director of National Measurement Standards for Mechanics, Radiation, and Biology at BSN, as keynote speakers. The seminar, which spanned roughly two hours, concluded with an interactive discussion and Q&A session in JCC’s Conference Room B.
